Obituary

Anthony J. Dicicco Anthony J. DiCicco, 89, of Brockton died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Dorothy A. (Keedwell) DiCicco for over 66 years. Born August 11, 1917 in Brockton, he was the son of the late John DiCicco and Theresa (Venti) DiCicco. He was a lifelong resident of Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School in 1936. He then graduated from Bentley College in 1951. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Knapp Brothers Shoe Company where he worked as an accountant for 40 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 1046. He loved to golf and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. (Keedwell) DiCicco of Brockton; his daughter, Deborah Roper of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Brian Roper of Franklin, New Hampshire and Laurie Roper of Georgetown; he is also survived by his two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Sue Antone. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123), Brockton on Monday, May 21st at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Sunday 2:00PM - 6:00PM.
