Obituary

Anthony Petruccelli Anthony "Tony" Petruccelli, of Stoughton, formerly of Brockton, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Massachusetts General Hospital after a lengthy and valiant battle with Pancreatic and Liver Cancer. Born in Brockton; he was the son of Margaret (Baldi) Petruccelli and the late Pasquale Petruccelli. Tony was raised in Brockton and graduated from Boston College High School in 1967. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force. For more than 25 years, Tony was a well known General Contractor in and around the Brockton area. After retiring from General Contracting, Tony went to Climate Energy, a Hybrid Heating Cogeneration Company. There he found his niche, he could use his knowledge of sales and general contracting to help bring an environmentally useful product to market. Tony was a voracious reader, loved to listen to talk radio and fox news whenever possible so as to keep abreast of conservative politics. He was a Master Mason. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Renate (Dreist) Petruccelli; his daughter Emily Dreist; his mother, Margaret (Baldi) Petruccelli; his sisters, Patricia (Petruccelli) Jannotta and her husband Kenneth and their son, Kenneth Romeo, another sister, Pegi (Petruccelli) Celia and her husband Anthony and their children, Army Warrant Officer, Anthony, Nicholas and Alexander; his father-in-law, Charles F. Dreist, Sr.; his late mother-in-law, Eugenie; his sister-in-law, Eugenie (Dreist) Bernard and her sons, Marine Corporal Carl and John Bernard; brother-in-law, Charles F. Dreist, Jr. and his partner Pearl Parent and her children Robert and Teresa; he is also survived by many cousins and many more friends. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday at 9:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Private cremation will follow. Calling hours Wednesday 5:00-8:00PM. Donations in Tony's memory may be made to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Research, 165 Cambridge St, suite 600, Boston, MA 02114.
