Anthony James Sheeran-Ortiz Anthony James Sheeran-Ortiz , 13, of Brockton courageously died Friday evening, April 13, 2007 at his home after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family. Born September 17, 1993 at New England Medical Center in Boston, he was the son of Kerrie (Sheeran) Ortiz and Gerardo Ortiz. He was raised in Brockton and attended the Downey Elementary School. Anthony enjoyed music, television, playing with his toys, and making people smile. He was a very loving, playful child who was adored by all his family members. He is survived by his parents, Kerrie (Sheeran) Ortiz and Gerardo Ortiz of Brockton; his brother Gerardo Ortiz, Jr.; his sister, Kassie Ortiz; his stepsister, Alisha Mercado-Ortiz, all of Brockton; his grandparents, Peter Sheeran and Paula Sheeran of Florida, and Juan Dones and Teresa Dones of Brockton; his aunts, Jennifer Sheeran-Cahoon of Taunton and Kristin (Sheeran) Ferrini and her husband Anthony of Florida; his uncle, Michael Sheeran and his wife Kerri of Taunton; his great grandmothers, Pauline Gillooly of Weymouth and Margaret Sheeran of Quincy; he is also survived by many cousins, great aunts, great uncles, and many other extended family members. Funeral Information Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, April 21st at 1:00PM.
