Antonia Goncalves Mendes, 99, of Brockton, passed away Friday, June 14, 2019, at her home. She was the wife of the late Henrrique Goncalves. Born in Cape Verde on March 25, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joao Alves Santos and Maria J. Mendes. Antonia is survived by three sons, two daughters, one sister, 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Thursday, June 20th at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 9:00 AM.
