Antonietta (Romano)(Messina) Chapman Antonietta (Romano)(Messina) Chapman , 67, of Brockton, died Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the BayPointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Michael Messina and George Chapman. Born August 18, 1940 in Palermo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonino Romano and Teresa (Meirandino) Romano. Mrs. Chapman came to the United States of America in 1957 where she lived in Boston before moving to Brockton in 1968. She worked at Crystal Cleaners of Brockton from 1968 until 1994. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping, and knitting. She was a former communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Brockton. She is survived by her son, Philip A. Messina and his wife Marie of Hingham; her stepdaughter, Debbie Joyale of Tewksbury; her grandchildren, Jacquline Messina, Michael Messina, Jennifer Messina, Elizabeth Messina, Lynne Messina, Nikhole Stoffel, and Rachel Joyale. She was the mother of the late Michael Messina. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, May 28th at 10:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 11:00AM.
