Antonio J. Amado Antonio J. Amado , 59, of Brockton died unexpectedly Saturday, January 5, 2008 at his home in Brockton. He was the beloved husband of Andreza (Monterio) Amado. Born January 4, 1949 in St. Felipe, Fogo, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Jose Barbosa and Cezarina (Galvao) Amado. Antonio came to the United States of America in 1983 where he lived in Providence Rhode Island and for the last 8 years he was a resident of Brockton. He worked as a machine operator for Martin Copeland Company of East Providence and later managed Soladad restaurant on Main Street in Brockton. Antonio is survived by his wife Andreza, his children, Cerino Amado of Brockton; Antonio Amado of Brockton; Tony Amado of East Providence Rhode Island; Geny Amado of East Providence Rhode Island; and five grandchildren. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Saturday, January 12th at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM.
