Brother of Orlando DeCorsa and Beatrice DeCorsa both of Brockton, Lucy Dellarocca of Norwood, Erland Sylvester of Newport, RI and the late Marie Yanni. Uncle of Christine DeCorsa of Stoughton. Funeral from J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-6 pm. Donations in Tony’s Memory may be made to the Patients Activity Fund, VA Medical Center, 940 Belmont St.,Brockton, MA 02301
Mr. DeCorsa died unexpectedly Wednesday at the Brockton VA Medical Center. He was born in Brockton son of the late Leonard and Mary (Samicandra) DeCorsa. He was a. lifelong resident of Brockton. He was a graduate of Brockton High School and Suffolk Law School. He was an attorney and at one time had his own law practice in Brockton.
During WW II he served in the US Army in Europe and received the purple heart. Mr. DeCorsa was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid reader; devoutly religious and studied the Bible.
Survived by 1 brother Orlando DeCorsa of Brockton Three sisters Beatrice DeCorsa of Brockton, Lucy Dellarocca of Norwood and Erland Sylvester of Newprt, RISeveral nieces and nephews including his caregiver Christine DeCorsa of Stoughton He was the brother of the late Marie Yanni
