Antonio Rodrigues Lima, 78, of Brockton passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Maria (Goncalves) Lima.

Born October 29, 1944 in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde he was the son of the late Raymond Fortes and Rosa Avelino (Rodrigues) Lima.

Antonio was raised and educated in Cape Verde. He loved playing the violin, dancing and listening to music.

In addition to his wife Maria he is survived by his children; Rosa Lima and Michelle Galvao; grandchildren; Giovanna Galvao, Mariah Galvao, Jaylen Galvao, Ava McDonagh, Kendra Lopes, Kyle Melara, Kaylee Melara and Keith Lopes; siblings; Joanna Gibau, Walter Lima and Reynaldo Lima, Julio Ribeiro and Enrique Ribeiro. He was also the father of the late Robyn Lopes and Jose Lima and the brother of the late, John Lima and Maria Estella Baptista.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 12:00PM.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.  Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00PM-9:00PM.
