Areti (Pappas) Potsis Areti (Pappas) Potsis , 73, of Brockton, died Wednesday, August 19, 2008 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. She was the wife of George Potsis. Born September 12, 1934 in Greece, she was the daughter of the late Athanasios Pappas and Dimitroula (Karakitsos) Pappas. Mrs. Potsis worked for Davis Clothing Company for several years. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton and was a member of the Annunciation Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society. She has been a Brockton resident for 40 years. She is survived by her husband, George Potsis; her children, Ilias Potsis and his wife Christine, Sophia Dosis and her husband Pavlos, and Chrisoula Palantzas and her husband Nick; her grandchildren, Peter Potsis, George Potsis, Chris Dosis, Labrini Dosis, Alexa Dosis, Vasiliki Palantzas, and Dimitrios Palantzas; her sisters, Effie Kalivas and Anastasia Gikas; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives in Greece. She was the sister of the late Dimitrios Pappas and Chrisavgi Naomis. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, August 22nd at 10:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 11:00AM.
