Arlene Catherine (Healy) Morrissey, 81, of Brockton, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of James Morrissey, Sr.
Born in Boston on September 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Thomas M. and Eugenia Marie (Prescott) Healy. Arlene was a graduate of South Boston High School.
Arlene loved spending time with her family. She also loved going to Bingo every week, belonged to several Brockton Bowling leagues and was a friend of Bill W. She looked forward to weekly dinners with the ladies.
In addition to her husband, James, Arlene is survived by her children, Caren Sartori and her husband Michael of Dorchester, Christine Sceppa and her husband John of Brockton, William Wieners and his wife Cheryl of Plymouth, Annmarie Bobst and her husband Keith of Brockton, Nancy Wieners and her partner Harry Bobst of South Carolina, James Morrissey, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Bellingham and John Morrissey and his partner Kathleen Costello of Abington; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings Nathan Healy of Florida and Kathleen (Healy) Dever of Dorchester. Arlene was also the mother of the late Robert Wieners and his wife Kerrie of Brockton and Barbara Lyon and her husband Lenny of Brockton; and the sister of the late Thomas Healy of Cohasset, Francis Healy of California, Rita (Healy) Collier of Florida, E. Marie (Healy) Regan of Brockton and Kenneth Healy of Georgia.
