Arthur R. Bellao Arthur R. Bellao , 88, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, formerly of Brockton died suddenly Monday, December 8, 2008 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He was the husband of the late Maria (Grillone) Bellao. Born October 23, 1920 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Antonio Bellao and Marie (Santino) Bellao. Arthur was a staff sergeant in the United States Army and a Veteran of WWII. He was a resident of Brockton most of his life spending his last ten years in Florida. Mr. Bellao was the former owner of the Rainbow Lounge in New Bedford for many years. He was one of the founding fathers of the Conte Memorial Club of Brockton. He is survived by his two sons, Arthur Bellao of Pembroke Pines, FL and Anthony Bellao of CT.; his brother, Philip Bellao of CT; he is also survived by 3 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, December 13th at 8:45AM.
