Hardy of Brockton formerly of Mattapan, November 28, 2006, Arthur F. Hardy, Sr., 80 years. Devoted companion of Carolyn Conwell. Father of Janice E. Hardy of California and the late Arthur Hardy, Jr.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10 am officiated by Rev. Mark Oliver of the New England Baptist Church. Visitation one hour prior service. Burial in Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.

Obituary

Arthur F. Hardy, Sr., 80 years died Tuesday at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Boston, the son of the late Arthur and Beatrice (Terrell) Hardy. Mr. Hardy has been a resident of Brockton for the past 13 years, previously living many years in Mattapan. Following his graduation from Boston High School he enlisted in the US Army and served in the European Theatre. He retired from Honeywell in Lawrence as a supervisor after many years with the company. Mr. Hardy enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his companion, Carolyn Conwell, a daughter Janice E. Hardy of California

He was the father of the late Arthur Hardy, Jr.
