Obituary

Arthur J. Thomas died Friday March 17, 2023 under the care of hospice and his niece Sunni Gonzales. He was born in Brockton a son of the late Arthur and Emma (Perkins) Thomas. He graduated from Brockton High School and lived in Brockton all of his life.

For many years Arthur worked as a security guard for Stop & Shop. In his free time he enjoyed the martial arts, bingo, bowling, wrestling and horror movies. He will be remembered as a friendly, happy, loving and giving father. He was also known for telling the worst “dad jokes.”

He was the father of Jeffrey Thomas of Burlington, VT and brother of Debbie Gonzales of Waco, TX. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Tyler, Makayla, Brittany, Jeffrey, “JT”, Chloe and Christopher as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, March 22 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton.
