Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 2-4 & 6-8pm.
Obituary Information
Arthur M Perry, 91 years, of Brockton, died November 11, 2004. Born and raised in Brockton, son of the late William Joseph and Hattie Elisabeth (Lamer) Perry. He served in the US Navy as a Radio Operative. He had been employed as a Brockton Firefighter for four years, and retired in 1968 as Fire Chief of the South Weymouth Naval Air Station. He was an entrepreneur of a grocery store, heating oil service and cab service. He was a former Scout Master at St. Colman Church, Troop #74; was a former communicant of St. Margaret Church and also a collector at the church.
He is survived by his wife Ruth M. (Sturgis) Perry of Brockton, 2 sons, Arthur M. Perry Jr. of Orlando, FL, and Douglas R. Perry of Brockton, 2 daughters Arlene M. Gerrior of Brockton and Barbara J. Henderson of Murrieta, CA, one sister Doris Caruso of Quincy, five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
