Obituary

Audrey L. (Johnson) Weatherbee, age 93, of Brockton, formerly of Stoughton, died November 27, 2015 at Baypointe Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a period of failing health. Born in Stoughton, she was the daughter of the late Cedric and Mildred (Salisbury) Johnson. Audrey was raised in Stoughton and Granby, Quebec, and graduated as Valedictorian of her class from Granby High School. Audrey moved back to Stoughton in 1943, and later moved to Brockton. For over 30 years she was employed as a bookkeeper for Cushman Insurance Agency. Audrey was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles, game shows, and music. She also had been a longtime member of the Brockton Council on Aging.
Audrey is survived by three nieces, Paula Johnson and Karen Johnson both of Brockton, and Brenda Herlihy of Wareham. She was the mother of the late Garrett Weatherbee and sister of the late Cedric Johnson, Jr.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 10am, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
