Gustinha de Malnelin, "Tetè" A mother to all. She not only raised her kids but many of her grandchildren. Her love for family was unmatched. Her willingness to prevail allowed for branches of this family tree to stretch far beyond the imaginable heights. With her you never was hungry or scared. She fought every fight made anything out of nothing. Her strength courage and generosity is what gave the fernandes family a root to stand on. Gustinha "tete" an extraordinary woman, she will always be remembered for her love for family and friends, love of gathering with laughter music dancing and enjoying great company. Gustinha de Malnelin you will live on for ever in us all. She is survived by seven kids, Joao Fernandes, Ana Fernandes, Emilia Fernandes, Candido Fernandes, Domingas Rodrigues, Maria Lopes, Miguel Anjo Fernandes, Thirty three grandchildren, Fifty five great grandchildren and Four great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Henrique Fernandes :"MuMU" Lopes who passed away this past February 3, 2022. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton on Friday, June 3rd at 9:30AM followed by a funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:30AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00PM.
