Obituary

Barbara M. (Cole) Cobb, age 77, of Brockton, died peacefully January 23, 2015 at her home surrounded by family. Barbara was the wife of the late James F. Cobb. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Blanchard and Ruth T. (Gray) Cole. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and for many years was a hairdresser at the House of Glamour on Belmont Street. Barbara was a vivacious woman who was full of life. She enjoyed painting, dancing, music and tending to her wildflower garden. As a Friend of Bill W., she was able to help and mentor many friends.
Barbara was the mother of James Cobb Jr. and his wife Kim of Mattapoisett; Cherie Cobb-Adams and her husband Paul of Bridgewater and Katherine Bertolino and her husband Steve of Lakeville; grandmother of Ryan, Kyle and Brianne Cobb; Aaron and McKenna Cobb-Adams and Zackery O’Brien; great grandmother of Camryn Cobb and best friend of Joan B. Cerce of Brockton.
A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Sunday 1-4pm followed by a Funeral Service at 4pm.
