Barbara Ann (McKeown) Foley Barbara Ann (McKeown) Foley , 82, of Brockton, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the New England Sinai Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late James M. Foley (Brockton Fire Dept.). Born August 22, 1928 in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Rapheal McKeown and Florence (Garrity) McKeown. Raised in Abington she graduated from Abington High School. Mrs. Foley was a retired X-Ray Technician and had worked at the Goddard Hospital in Stoughton for several years. She was a New England sports fan and also was a fan of the Boston College Football Team. She enjoyed traveling and reading. She is survived by her children, Maureen E. Emmons of Brockton, Paula M. Foley of Brockton, James M. Foley, Jr. of North Easton, George F. Foley and his wife Beth of Bridgewater and Scott P. Foley of Brockton; grandmother of Jessica M. Emmons, Meghan R. Foley and Ryan J. Foley; sister of Paula Lutz and Sheila Caufield both of Virginia; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, June 22nd at 9:00AM thence to Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main St., North Easton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM.
