Barbara Jean (Killilea) Mills, 77, of East Bridgewater passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was the wife of Donald J. Mills.

Born in Boston on May 24, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Francis P. Killilea and Mary A. (Murphy) Johnson. Barbara graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Roxbury in the class of 1965.

Barbara worked as a service representative for Verizon.

Barbara liked to crochet and do crafts and spend time with friends playing games like LRC. She was also an avid Red Sox fan.

In addition to her husband Donald, Barbara is survived by her children Donald Mills, Jr. and Kristine (Mills) Blay and her husband Josè A; her grandchildren Jamie Mills, Kelsey (Mills) Dovell and her husband Anthony, and Alannah Blay; her great-granddaughter Aubrey Dovell; her siblings Francis Killilea and his wife Marilyn, Mary P. (Johnson) Reynolds, Susan Blaney, Raymond Johnson and his wife Helen, and Frederick Johnson and his wife Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Ann Marie (Killilea) Crowley.

Funeral Services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (RT28) West Bridgewater on Monday, August 19th at 12:00PM.  Interment will follow in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.  Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00PM-5:00PM.
