Obituary

Barbara M. (Houghton) Moran 83 years formerly of Holbrook died Saturday at St. Joseph Manor. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Moran. She was born in Brockton and raised in Avon. Following high school graduation she enlisted in the US Navy during WWII. After the war she lived in Brockton until her marriage when she moved to Holbrook. Barbara retired as payroll supervisor from the Brockton school department. She had enjoyed knitting, reading and ceramics.
She is survived by a nephew and 2 nieces Edward F. Fee, Jr. and his wife Diane of Hingham, Sr. Mary Valliere C.J.C. of Brockton and Rae Jane Doyle of Bridgewater.
Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook Wednesday at 10 am. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 5-8 pm.
