Barbara V. (Crane) Stork Barbara V. (Crane) Stork , 81, of Brockton died peacefully in the presence of her family on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Richard D. Stork. Born August 27, 1933 in Avon, MA she was the daughter of the late Lester and Emma (Paine) Crane. Barbara was raised in Avon and graduated from Avon High School. She was a long time resident of Brockton who enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and dog, Chloe. She was a devoted homemaker for many years, lovingly raising her four children in Brockton. After raising her children, she worked at Chadwicks of Brockton. She is survived by her devoted children, Cheryl (Stork) Pierce and her husband Wilfred of Raynham, David R. Stork of Cranston, RI and Jodi (Stork) Schultz and her husband Christopher of Hingham; her loving grandchildren, Jarad Pierce, Jill Duquette, Noelle Stork, Aaron Stork, Nathan Stork, Christopher Rick Schultz, Hunter Schultz, Parker Schultz, Sydney Schultz and Cooper Schultz; two great grandchildren, Lincoln Duquette and Stella Dees; and a sister, Beverly Cappiello of Avon. She was preceded in death by a son, Rick Stork and siblings, Sherwood Crane, Miles Crane, Ruth Regan and Claire DAlessandro. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Avon Baptist Church, 119 North Main St., Avon. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Friday from 4:00-8:00PM.
