Obituary

Barry J. Mitchell, 66, of Hingham died unexpectedly last week. He was born and raised in Quincy and was the son of the late James P. and Paula (Salonen) Mitchell. Barry was a graduate of Northeastern University, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology. Having worked at Quincy City Hospital as an X-Ray Technician for almost 20 years, he most recently was employed as a medical courier for the Miller Express Company in Sharon.

Barry is survived by his wife Marcia (Wilbur) Mitchell, his daughter and son-in-law Meg and Danny Brock of Avon, his two grandchildren Veronica and Johnny Brock, and his brother Bill and his wife Dot Mitchell of Jacksonville Park, FL.

There will be a funeral Mass, held in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 87 N. Main Street, Avon, Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 10am. All are welcome. Visiting hours have been omitted.
