Online Obituaries Benvinda BeBei De Pina Faria, 95, of Brockton, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on Monday, February 24, 2014 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Antonio Filipe Faria. Born October 29, 1918 in Brava, Cape Verde she was a daughter of the late Guilherme Galvao Barros and Leopoldina De Pina. Benvinda was a house wife who enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Most of all she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her children, Joaquim Dos Santos, Albert Monteiro, Maria De Lourdes (De Pina Faria) Rodrigues, Libia (De Pina) Faria, Carolina De Pina Faria, Leopoldina (De Pina Faria) Rodrigues, Antonio De Pina Faria and Maria Aide De Pina Faria. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 11:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Edith Stein/ St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00pm -9:00pm.
