Bernard "Bernie" F. Bryant, 80, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Born in Brockton on July 22, 1944, he was the son of the late Frederick C. and Esther H. (O'Connell) Bryant.

Bernie worked for the City of Brockton for many years.

He enjoyed playing Keno and scratching scratch tickets.

Bernie is survived by his brothers Thomas Bryant and Dennis Bryant; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Frederick Bryant, Jr., Robert Bryant, David Bryant and Richard Bryant and his only sister Jean Maraget.

**CHANGE OF SERVICE**

A brief Funeral Service along with full Military Honors will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, May 10th from 5:00PM. Followed by a Gathering in the Funeral Home until 7:00PM. Private interment will be held in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.

Following the calling hours, friends and family are invited to Tommy Doyle's (at Sidelines), 235 East Ashland St., Brockton at 7:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernie's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
