Obituary

Bertha Kearns (Petersen) age 87, of Brockton, passed away on October 20, 2022, at Champion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Kearns.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Marion (Hanson) Petersen.

She was a self-employed housekeeper for many years.

Bertha enjoyed playing bingo and watching I Love Lucy. She will be remembered as being a good person, hardworking, and for her sense of humor. Bertha loved her dog.

Mrs. Kearns is survived by her two sons, Edward F. Kearns and Michael G. Kearns; her siblings, Christian, Harold, and Barbara; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

To honor her wishes, all funeral services will be private.
