Online Obituaries Bertha Nickandros Weinberg, 93, of Brockton, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Ralph Weinberg. Born April 30, 1923 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late John Nickandros and Mary (Kokinakis) Nickandros. Raised in Brockton, she attended Brockton Schools and graduated from Brockton High School. Bertha was a devoted member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church where she was involved in many activities through the charitable Philoptochos organization. She loved the beach and feeding squirrels and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Langway of North Easton and Merri Weinberg of Brockton; her grandchildren, Zachary Langway and Alexandra Langway; her siblings, Julia Nicholaides and George Nickandros; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Catherine Nickandros and William Nickandros. Funeral Information Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, April 13th from 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
