Betty Lee (Wright) Asacker, 93, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 12, 2021. Bette was the daughter of the late George and Harriet Wright and wife of the late Peter R. Asacker. Bette was the sister of Ernest Wright, Corinne Tierney, and the late George Wright. Bette is survived by her son Peter Asacker and his wife Pamela Asacker of Raynham, her daughter Kathleen Asacker of Taunton, her granddaughter Nicole Asacker Colegrove and her husband Greg Colegrove of Easton, Allison Asacker and her partner Steven Heider of Worcester, granddaughter Rebecca Raymond and her partner James Smith of Stoughton, and grandson Johnny Raymond of Taunton, as well as six great-grandchildren. Bette was employed by the Brockton District Court up until she finally retired in 2012 at 84 years young. Bette's biggest enjoyment in life was her family, (which also included several pets over the years) whether it be taking her grandkids out for birthday breakfasts, cooking them random dishes, or even teaching them to drive. One of her favorite things was our family vacations on Cape Cod. Her witty sense of humor stayed with her even in her last days. The family will be having a private burial of her cremains in the Spring.
