Obituary

Beverly G. (Lively)DeChristopher age 63, of West Yarmouth died Thursday June 27, 2013 at the Life Care Center in Raynham after a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of Richard J. “Dick” DeChristopher. Beverly was born in Brockton and raised in Holbrook a daughter of the late Frederick and Karin (Nye) Lively. She had lived in West Yarmouth for the past 11 years and previously lived in Taunton and Brockton.

Beverly had spent her working career in the dry cleaning business and had worked at Crystal and Paramount Cleaners in Brockton. In her free time she enjoyed doing cross stitch, playing board games, reading, long drives and eating out. She also loved the beach, and collecting carousel horses and light houses. Most importantly, Beverly cherished her time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Beverly was the mother of Thomas Doxsee, Susan Mullin, Michael Jardin, Terri Bigness, Richard DeChristopher, Jr., Malinda DeChristopher and the late Devon Atwood. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and a sister Ellen Atwood.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Beverly’s name to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
