Obituary

Beverly A. (McGrath) Freccero, passed away peacefully February 6, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was the devoted and loving wife to the late Dr. Francis Freccero. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the loving daughter to the late James and Ann McGrath, and sister to the late James McGrath. Beverly graduated from St. Clement's High School and then followed her passion to become a nurse, attending St. Elizabeth's Nursing School. After graduation, she worked at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton for several years and this is where she met the love of her life, her husband Francis. Beverly's decision to stay home and raise her 4 children with so much love and devotion was her greatest joy. She was a very sweet, loving, kind and devoted wife, mother, daughter and daughter-in-law. She was a natural caretaker, caring selflessly for all those around her. After years of raising a family she decided to return to her passion for nursing and worked for 25 years at West Acres Nursing Home, where she was loved by her coworkers, patients and patients' families. Beverly felt truly blessed with all the joys of her grandchildren. She was such a wonderful and loving grandmother, who showered her grandchildren with love and affection. She will always be remembered for her selfless acts of kindness, her devotion to her family, her generosity and her compassion for others. Beverly leaves behind her son Edward Freccero and his wife Charlene of Bridgewater, James Freccero of Stoughton, Ann Nardelli and her husband Brian of Brockton, and Gina Phipps and her husband Thayer of Newbury. As well as her grandchildren, Ava, Anthony and Stephen Nardelli, Matthew and Mark Freccero, Ryan, Harrison and Hannah Phipps. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
