Obituary

Beverly R. Pelland, 82, passed away peacefully at home with family on September 11, 2024 in Raynham after being in hospice care for many months. She was the loving wife of Eugene J. Pelland for 67 years.

Born November 1, 1941 in Brockton to the late Clyde L. & Doris (Gour) Blanchard. She was a long standing resident of Brockton. Unable to complete high school to care for her ailing mother. She was employed at Soundex Radio and Hande Hanna and was a domestic homemaker, rearing her three children. She was a communicant of St. Colman's and St. Patrick's church for many years.

She was a Swarovski Society member and collector, and a member of Hilltop Bowling League. Beverly was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles, playing cards, and shopping. She is survived by her husband Eugene J. Pelland, cherished children Eugene J. Pelland, Jr., son Richard A. Pelland and his wife Betsy, and her daughter Gina M. D'Amarino and her husband Michael J. D'Amarino. Many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street, West Bridgewater, on Thursday, September 19th from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home on Friday, September 20th, followed by her funeral mass of Christian burial will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center Street, Bridgewater at 10 a.m. Interment immediately following at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379, or a charity of ones choice.
