Blanche T. (Fahey) Sylvester Blanche T. (Fahey) Sylvester , 81, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Eugene F. Sylvester, Sr, they have been married for 60 years. Born November 15, 1927 in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. Fahey and Blanche (Emond) Fahey. Raised in Brockton she attended Brockton Schools. Mrs. Sylvester was a homemaker and has been a Brockton resident for most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, playing Bingo, and going to the Casino. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church for many years and also Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene F. Sylvester, Sr. of Brockton; her loving children, Rosanne Sylvester/Ross and her husband David of Brockton, Eugene F. Sylvester, Jr. and his wife Stella of Halifax, and Edward J. Sylvester and his wife Patricia of Brockton; her loving grandchildren, Amy Ouellette, Eric Lekberg, Nicholas Sylvester, Tony Sylvester, Matthew Sylvester, Brandon Sylvester, and Gabrielle Sylvester; her loving brothers, Edward Fahey, Jr. of Wareham, Donald "Butch" Fahey of Brockton, and Dennis Fahey of Wareham; she is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Doris Moore, Norman Fahey, and Richard Fahey. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, March 13th at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
