Obituary

Brenda L. (Ferguson) Hannon, age 82 of West Bridgewater, died October 1, 2022 at the Champion Rehab in Brockton. She was the devoted wife of James P. Hannon for 64 years. Brenda was born and raised in Lando, SC a daughter of the late George and Willie Ferguson and lived in the Brockton area since 1958.

A graduate of Lewisville High School in South Carolina, Brenda had worked in the corporate offices of Bradlees Department Store for over 25 years as the operations manager.

Brenda will be remembered as a loving and caring person who devoted herself to her family. She loved caring for her grandchildren Bryce and Cole Hannon.

Brenda was the mother of John Hannon of West Bridgewater, Jeffrey Hannon and his wife Jeanne of Winchester, and the late James “Jimmy” Hannon. She was the sister of Leon and Arnold Ferguson and Cleneth Carnes. She was predeceased by her siblings Fred, Troy, George, Lou and Olin D. Ferguson, Loretta Rockholt and Gladys Hough.

Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Saturday October 8, 2022 from 1-4 pm. Graveside services will be at a later date.
