Brendan W. Hallisey, 56, (retired Raynham Police Department) of Bridgewater passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 13, 2023. He was the son of Sheila L. (Fenton) Hallisey and predeceased by his father Vincent Hallisey.
Brendan was a police officer with the Raynham Police Department for twenty years.
Born in Brockton on July 29, 1966, he graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1984, earned his Bachelor's degree from Bridgewater State University, and earned his Master's degree in criminal justice administration. Brendan also attended Sorbonne University in Paris, France and fell in love with Paris.
Brendan enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland. He was proud of his Irish heritage and was named for the patron saint of County Kerry, Ireland.
He is survived by his mother Sheila L. (Fenton) Hallisey; his brother Vincent T. Hallisey; his close friends Brian and Patty Hogan; his god son Kevin Hogan and his sister Ashley Hogan; and several cousins.
Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Saturday, January 21st from 9:00AM-10:30AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Ann Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
