Online Obituaries Brett M. Anderson, 53, of Brockton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. Born October 20, 1959 in Brockton, he was the son of Riner A. and Virginia M. (Voci) Anderson of Brockton. A lifelong city resident, he graduated from Brockton High School, Class of 1977. Brett had worked at Miller Golf and Hallsmith -Sysco Co. He played in Brockton's City Softball League for over 15 years and was an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Brett also loved to play wiffle ball with family and friends on vacations at Cape Cod. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Steven R. Anderson and his wife Jean (Robertson) of Burlington, Lorna M. and her husband Frank Duquette of West Bridgewater and Riner V. Anderson and his wife Julie (Noone) of Brockton; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Calling hours will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, July 20th from 4:00-7:00PM followed by a prayer service at 7:00PM. Cremation and burial at Melrose Cemetery will be held at a later date.
