Obituary

Brian G. Clancy, age 58, of Brockton, died peacefully at home, December 2, 2015, surrounded by family. Brian was the son of the late Francis and Kathleen A. (Tierney) Clancy. He was a lifelong resident of Brockton, and graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1975. Brian was the owner of Clancy Plastering Company for the past ten years, and previously had worked for other plastering companies. He was a member of the Bertocci Memorial Club in Brockton, and Mitchell Memorial Club in Middleboro. He enjoyed time with family and friends, his dog Roscoe, and playing darts and pool.
Brian is survived by a brother John F. Clancy and his wife Valerie of Middleboro; two sisters Patricia A. Donovan of Brockton and Teresa A. Blanchette and her husband Gary of Brockton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Kevin M. Clancy.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Sunday, 2-5pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 5pm. Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Brian’s name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
