Obituary

Brian P. Dufresne, age 56, of Holbrook, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Brockton, he was the loving son of Nancy (Mathieu) Dufresne and the late Gerald N. Dufresne, Jr.

A graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, he worked for many years as a house painter.

He was a kind person with a great sense of humor. Brian enjoyed spending time with those he loved and watching sports with his close friends. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, loved playing cribbage with his mother, gardening, and fishing.

Besides his mother, he leaves his two sisters, Linda Frost and her husband Bob of Raynham and Mary Neal and her husband John of Brockton; three nephews, Michael, John Jr., and Adam; a niece, Kelly; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dear friends Vinny, Nikki, Ed, and Debbie.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at a later date.
