Burton "Burt" Price, 77, of Brockton passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Rosalyn (Sokol) Price for 55 years. Born on June 23, 1943 in Somerville, he was the son of the late Jacob Price and Annie (Frank) Price. Burt drove for Chevron for 20 years, followed by owning his own Shell station - Burt's Service Center in Stoughton, MA. In his later years, he and his wife Rosalyn, were co-proprietors of Roz's Road Show. Burt's passion was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He often started each day at Panera Bread of Stoughton, surrounded by friends, sharing old stories. Every spring, he looked forward to vacationing in his special place, The Divi Phoenix, in Aruba. In addition to his wife, Rosalyn, Burt is survived by his children Jay Price and his wife, Christine, Amy Cobb and her husband, Daniel and Marcy McCarthy; his grandchildren Timothy Price, Amanda Price, Matthew Wagner, Megan Wagner, Ali McCarthy and Kevin McCarthy; his sister Marion Costello and her husband Bill; his sisters in law Lois Price, Claire Sokol and Judy Sokol; as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. He was also the brother of the late Aaron Price and brother in law of the late Arnold Sokol.
