Obituary

Parker, of Weymouth, April 10, 2006, C. Thompson “Tom” Parker, 71 years. Step father of Craig D. Chaplain and his wife Brenda of East Bridgewater. Visiting Hours in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday 4-7pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm. Burial will be held at a later date.

Obituary Information

C. Thompson “Tom” Parker, 71 years died unexpectedly Monday at South Shore Hospital. Born and raised in Wallingford, CT, he was the son of the late Charles and Florence (Ohr) Parker. He was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School, class of 1954 and received both his Associates of Arts degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Boston University. He had been employed for many years as an underwriter for Liberty Mutual and Cigna Corporation.

Mr. Parker was an avid bridge player in the South Shore area and was also a Red Sox and Celtics fan. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Switzerland.

He is survived by his stepson Craig D. Chaplain and his wife Brenda of East Bridgewater and a sister in law Constance Parker of Shreveport Louisiana. He was the brother of the late William Parker.
