Camille (Porazzo) Nelson Camille (Porazzo) Nelson , 77, of Bridgewater, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at Southeast Rehabilitation in Easton surrounded by family after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Harry L. Nelson of Bridgewater. Born August 22, 1932 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Porazzo and Helen (Sullivan) Porazzo. She graduated from Brockton High School and moved to Bridgewater 30 years ago. Camille worked in the Trust Department of the former Plymouth Home National Bank of Brockton, retiring in the early 1990's after close to 40 years of service. She also was the bookkeeper for the Brockton Police Department Relief Association for several years. Over the past years she belonged to many bowling leagues and enjoyed playing bingo and making quilts. She also enjoyed planting and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Harry L. Nelson of Bridgewater; her brothers, Anthony Porazzo and his wife Carol of FL, Louis Porazzo and his wife Diane of Brockton and Paul Porazzo and his wife Linda of Pembroke; her close niece, Joanne Gately of Stoughton; her step-children, Tracy, Lynn and Lisa of Taunton and Scott of FL; her step-grandchildren, Kelly, Megan and Kyle; her step-great Grandchild, Alana; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Marie Valente, Lorraine Grandizio, Robert Porazzo and Michael Porazzo. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Wednesday, April 28th at 9:00AM thence to St. Ann Church, 103 No. Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours Tuesday 4:00-8:00PM.
