Obituary

Carl R. Jones, 67, of Brockton, died December 31, 2010 following a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Carolyn A. (Pearson) (Wainwright) Jones. Born in Stoneham, he was the son of Belle (Jones) Ryan of Sarasota, FL and the late Homer A. Jones. He had been employed for many years as a pressman at various printing companies, and retired from Graphic Arts in Rockland. Carl had been a Softball Coach, a member of the Polish White Eagles and Maple Alley Bowling League and enjoyed saltwater fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards, pool and shuffleboard.

He is also survived by his sons Carl Jones of Kingston, Gordon Jones of Brockton and Jeffrey Jones of Avon; two sisters Linda O’Neal of Florida and Lorraine Jones of Braintree; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Carl was the step father of the late Patrick Wainwright.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8pm.
