Obituary

Carl M. Snyder, age 89, of Brockton, died on February 17, 2023 at Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Born on June 6, 1933, he was the son of the late Abraham and Helen (Yaffe) Snyder. Carl was raised in Brockton with his sisters Mary, Rosey and Shirley. He was a graduate of Brockton High School and shortly after high school, proudly served in the US Army during Korea.

Carl was employed as a dispatcher and cab driver for Yellow Cab Company in Brockton for 30 years before his retirement. He enjoyed listening to music and watching movies with his cats.

Carl was the brother of the late Mary White, Rosey, Evelyn and Shirley.

He was loved and cherished by many people in his adoptive family which includes: Isabel Verrier (caregiver), Damon and their children Jaylin, Layla and Evie. Scott Verrier, Jaime and his children Emily and Scott. Krystal and her children Matt, Sophie and Alex. He is survived by his longtime friends and caregivers Theresa Dwyer and Gary White.

Services will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday, March 17 at 1:30pm
