Obituary

Carlene R. (Gibbs) Cane, 65 years of Brockton died November 30, 2004 at home after a brief illness. She was born, raised and educated in Brockton, daughter of the late Carlton Gibbs and Florence (Jennison) Gibbs. She had been a resident of Caffrey Towers for the more than twenty years. For a short time she had been a Nurse’s Aid at the VA Brockton Hospital. She loved to help others, especially the people at the Caffrey Towers,running errands and visiting the sick. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo at Caffrey Towers.

She is survived by three sisters, Edrie Marchand of South Deerfield, MA, Anne Simoneau of North Attleboro, MA and Nancy Roberts of Abington, her many friends at Caffrey Towers and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Community Room at Caffrey Towers, 755 Crescent Street, Brockton, Sunday, December 12, at 2 PM.
