Online Obituaries Carol Ann (Zarrella) Shearing, 61, of East Bridgewater passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a short battle with cancer. She was the dear companion of Fred DeLorie. Born April 19, 1953 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Zarrella and Eunice (Troy) Zarrella. Raised in Brockton, she graduated from Brockton High School in 1971. She has been an East Bridgewater resident for the last 13 years. Carol worked as a Billing Representative for Clean Harbors for over 5 years. She was devoted to her family and friends and loved her dogs. She is survived by her children, Daniel DeLorie of East Bridgewater, Tina Jackson and her husband Keon of Brockton, Katherine Staines and her husband Warren of Taunton, Deana Bower of Brockton and Jaquie DeLorie of NH; grandmother of David, Alex, Kassie, Tiyanna, Jordan, Shawna and Mikayla; sister of Joseph Zarrella of Brockton and Jim Pancyck of Brockton; her sister-in-law Maureen Zarrella of Chicago; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Zarrella. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT 123) Brockton on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00AM. Interment will be private. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00PM.
