Online Obituaries Carol A. (Castano) Yannone, 70, of Brockton, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of Arthur Yannone. Born October 5, 1941, in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Louise (Brusseau) Castano. A lifelong resident of the City of Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1959. Carol was devoted to her family and loved to write children stories. Some of which were published in various muscular dystrophy publications. She also enjoyed painting, especially landscapes. A favorite passion of hers was also to cook and bake for her beloved grandchildren. Carol touched the lives of all who knew her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Raymond "Chip" Yannone and his wife Bobbie Jo of West Bridgewater, Jeanine Petty and her husband Don of Arizona, Dan Conrad and his wife Elizabeth of West Bridgewater and Brian Sangeleer and his wife Sharon of Hanson; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; a brother, Raymond Castano of Cape Cod and a sister, Leona Lorber of New Hampshire. Funeral Information Private funeral services were held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home.
