Carole A. (Tivnan) Loftus, 74, of East Bridgewater passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of John Loftus.
Born on November 27, 1946 in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Raymond L. Tivnan and Gertrude H. (Duemling) Tivnan. She was a graduate of Archbishop Cushing High School, class of 1964.
Carole was a business manager at Brigham and Women's Hospital for many years. Carole also was an owner/operator of her own travel agency. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her favorite place to vacation was Aruba, as well as traveling to England and Ireland, to meet relatives she found through her genealogy research.
In addition to her husband John, Carole is survived by her children Lisa Loftus Smith and her husband David and Brenda Lawler and her husband Frank; and her grandchildren Melissa Smith, Dylan Smith and Trevor Lawler.
Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St.(Rt.28), West Bridgewater on Saturday, May 22nd from 9:00-10:30 AM with a funeral service following at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carole's name to St. Jude Org, The Shriners for Children, or to your favorite charity.
