Carolina Miranda Carolina (Fernandes) Miranda, 97, of Brockton, did Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Jose Miranda. Born July 25, 1910 in Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Joao Fernandes and Carlota DePina Fernandes. Mrs. Miranda was devoted to her family and was a devoted Catholic. She was a member of the S. Joao Baptista. She is survived by her children, Maria Miranda Azancoth of France, Maria Miranda Teixeira of Holland, Carlota Miranda Rodrigues of Holland, Eugenio Miranda of Brockton, Fatima Miranda Goncalves, and the late Jose Miranda; she is also survived by 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, April 19th at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton.
