(Lessard) Colombo, 74, of Brockton passed away peacefully Sunday morning, February 24, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with kidney and heart disease. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert A. Colombo, Sr. Carolyn was born January 6, 1939 in Brockton and was the daughter of the late Florence (Donahue) and George Lessard. She graduated from Brockton High School Class of 1957. Carolyn most loved gatherings at her home with family and friends, cooking, fishing, decorating and spending time with her four grandchildren. She was an amazing woman who truly treasured being a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Carolyn will be forever loved by all who knew her. Carolyn was the loving mother of Robert A. Colombo Jr. and his wife Patricia of Chester, NH., Kelly A. Colombo and her partner Cheryl Chianese of North Providence, RI., and Darlene M. (Colombo) Flaherty and her husband Matthew of Bridgewater; She was the proud "Grammy" to Aimee and Matt Flaherty of Bridgewater and Michael and Elissa Colombo of NH. Carolyn was the beloved sister of George Lessard and his wife Barbara of Brockton, and Gail Lemoyne and her husband Marc also of Brockton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, February 28th at 8:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish, 42 Wendell Ave., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
