Obituary

Carolyn Vivian (Leonard) Parkinson, 81 yrs old of Bridgewater passed in her sleep after a long battling of pancreatic cancer on May 18,2023 at The Old Colony Dr Ruth McLain Hospice Home in Braintree.

She was born December 28, 1941 in Brockton, daughter of the late Arvesta (Harlow) and Harold Leonard. She grew up in Brockton before moving to Stoughton and then Bridgewater to help care for her granddaughter Erin.

She worked at Foxboro Company for many years before working at Primo Med for 25 years.

One of her many hobbies was knitting and before her illness loved traveling & going antiquing with her friends.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Kristine Manning and her husband James, Kenneth Beal, Kraig Beal and his wife Alie, along with her grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Evelyn Larson and Audrey Chambers.

She was predeceased by her daughter Karen; her granddaughter Erin; her sister Blanche Lakeman of East Bridgewater; and brother Ronald Leonard of Wareham.

Would like to extend our appreciation to The Old Colony Hospice for their caring of our Mom for her last 4 months.
