Harvey of Brockton, March 17, 2004, Catherine B. “Kate” (Dineen) Harvey, 81 years. Beloved wife of the late James J. “Buzz” Harvey. Mother of Sheila A. Harvey of Bridgewater and Noreen P. Freeman of Nashua, NH. Grandmother of Timothy, Nicholas and Whitney Freeman all of Nashua, NH and Jaime, Shane and Carly Sabine all of Bridgewater.

A Memorial Service will be held in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 2 pm. with a visitation from 1-2 pm. Donations in Kate’s memory may be made to the Old colony Hospice, 14 Page Terrace, Stoughton, MA 02072.

Obituary

Mrs. Harvey died Wednesday March 17, 2004 at Life Care Center in West Bridgewater after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Cornelius and Julia (McSweeney) Dineen. Resident of Brockton for most of her life. Most recently she was a resident at Emmanuel House, previously living in Matfield Woods, W. Bridgewater from 1986 to 2002. Graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1940 and Burdett College. She retired as an executive secretary from the Pilgrim Foundation in Brockton. She had previously worked at Brockton Family Services. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and making crafts.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila A. Harvey of Bridgewater and Noreen P. Freeman of Nashua, NH., six grandchildren, Timothy, Nicholas and Whitney Freeman all of Nashua, NH and Jaime, Shane and Carly Sabine all of Bridgewater and several nieces and nephews.
