Catherine (Perdikis) Prufer Catherine (Perdikis) Prufer , 82, of Brockton, died peacefully Thursday, June 05, 2008 at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island after a brief illness. Born July 22, 1925 in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late James Perdikis and Anna (Ziavras) Perdikis. Raised in Brockton, she graduated from Brockton High School. Catherine worked for many years at the Brockton District Court and managed Christo's II function facility for more than 15 years. She was a parishioner of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton. She is survived by her children, Erika Lamb and her husband Thomas of Providence, Rhode Island and Marc Prufer and his wife Cheryl of Millis, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Melia Lamb, Isabel Lamb, and Noah Prufer; her sisters, Ann Hadjis, Rose Kambouris, and Mary Olayan; her sisters-in-law, Libby Perdikis and Frances Perdikis; and an aunt Mary Ziavras. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces. She was the sister of the late Christy Perdikis and Peter Perdikis. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, June 9th 10:00-11:30AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 12:00PM. The Rev. John Kiramarios will officiate. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
